"Big Mike" was like my security blanket when I first joined the media team at Church Of All Nations. He always cheered me on and could have me laughing in an instant with a witty comment or a wry smile. I took this photo of him on a Sunday morning when he was working the audio and video for the service. I was setting up my camera and fired off a few test shots from a distance. I thought he couldn't see me since i was so far away,  but just as I fired off the first shot he smiled ... just a little smile... just enough to let me know I wasn't quite the paparazzi I thought I was! It was my very first time taking photos of the service for the website and I was a bit nervous because I wanted to do a good job. Mike kept an eye on me to make sure I was okay,  and he even gave me a few pointers to help build my confidence. We became fast friends and I always looked forward to our conversations,  which were sometimes laced with lighthearted banter, sometimes outright out-loud laughter (Mike was always joking and rarely took anything seriously), but our conversations were always interesting. I will truly miss him, but I will look for him in heaven and I'm sure we'll have a laugh or two when I get there. Love you Big Mike. Save me a spot at the Table. I'll bring my camera. By the way,  if you are reading this and no one has ever told you how much God loves you,  let me tell you right now! God loves you so much that He sent His only Son to die in your place! His Name is Jesus Christ and He loves you,  too! If you want to see Mike again all you have to do is ask Jesus into your heart, then spend some time getting to know Him. He even wrote a Book to help you. It's His autobiography, titled "The Bible",  and you can find one practically anywhere,  including the app store,  and in every language imaginable. God has a great plan for you! I hope to see you in heaven one day. Until then, I pray that God will bless you and keep you in the Palm of His Hand. 

Michael was always smiling. And in a world of many issues all around, he brought a ray of sunshine to all those that came in contact with him and his friendly smile. He will be missed, and heaven has one more joyful person to worship the King Our Lord!   Hallelujah!!!    I look forward to see him one day.      Thank you Michael for your friendship and impact in my life.    PTL!

I remember the BBQs at the Adams home.  All the cousins - and there were A LOT  of us cousins.  Playing in their backyard, and enjoying our time together.  Mom, Carol would play the ukulele and we had a great time.  
So sorry for another loss in their beautiful family. 


Mike is the youngest boy in Family of eight.  I am Cathy his sister and the oldest. One of our annual family memories is getting our family picture taken every Christmas. As you can imagine  a feat, trying to get 6 kids dressed, lined up and smiling all at the same time by a Mom and Dad who wanted the perfect picture.  I know the congregation at COAN call my brother Big Mike and he was tall and a big baby (9 lbs, 8 oz.) biggest in our family. You’ll be able to find Mike in the Christmas picture. So many memories, I will dearly miss Mikey.
