Mary Lou Chaiser

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Gordon Chaiser. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 29, 1929 and was the daughter of Mabel (Tuke) Helmus & Edward Helmus. She was the loving mother of James Chaiser and Diane (Chaiser) Kaminski and adored grandmother of Harper and Logan Kaminski. She has now joined her sisters Betty (Helmus) Heller and Jeanne (Helmus) Young and her brother Dick Helmus in heaven.

Through most of Mary’s early years she was a stay at home mom, always being there for James & Diane through every stage of life. Mary later dedicated herself to working at nursing homes and ensuring that the elderly patients were well taken care of. This was a real passion of hers. Once Mary had grandchildren, she would be on the floor playing dinosaur’s with Logan or playing dress up with Harper. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved every moment she could spend with them.

Over the years, in Mary’s free time, she had a true passion for drawing. She also enjoyed crochet, needlework and doing word searches to keep her mind active.

Services will be held on Friday, January 10th at 11am at Babione-Kraeer Funeral Home in Boca Raton, Florida followed by a celebration of life at another location.
