Mark A. Lobig, age 54, passed away on November 9, 2018 in Boca Raton, Florida. Mark was born March 28, 1964 in Newburgh, NY to Anthony and Marguerite (Doderer) Lobig. Mark was married to Peggy D. (Holbrook) Lobig on November 2, 1996. He is survived by his wife, Peggy; sons Clint and William “Billy” (Tara Moody) Lobig; daughter, Jessica (Jorge) Rosario; grandchildren, Brayden Swisher, and Juliette, Victoria and Hunter Rosario; parents, Anthony and Marguerite “Marge” Lobig; sister, Mary (Larry) Giberson; and uncle, William Doderer. Mark was also looking forward to the birth of a granddaughter, due in April 2019. Mark graduated from Boca Raton Community High School in 1982, and Florida Atlantic University in 1991. Mark was a kind and caring man who loved spending time with family and friends. He also loved sports and coached his sons in basketball and football for a number of years. During his time coaching basketball, his son’s team went undefeated, a testament to his competitive spirit. Mark was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed playing guitar and reading. Services will be handled by Babione-Kraeer Funeral Home, 1100 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton, Florida 33432. Visitation will be Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm, with Funeral Service beginning at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mark’s memory to Ascension Catholic Church, 7250 N. Federal Hwy., Boca Raton, Florida 33487 or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
