I loved my grandmother so much and still do. She was my favorite grandparent. I could talk to her about anything and she never judged me and always listened. She loved me so much. When I was a little girl every weekend when I lived in Fl I wanted to stay at my grandma's and she was always happy to have us over. She was very caring and loving. When I moved away I saw her less and missed her so much. But when I became an older teenager and acted very stupid, I talked to her less and as horrible as this may sound I didn't care; i didn't care about anything. But I'm 23 years old now and getting my life together and have a daughter. And I wish she didn't get sick like that so I could visit her once I got better. My grandmother died way too soon. She was such a huge part of my life growing up. They say there's a reason for everything, my grandma believed that but I don't see a reason for her dieing without me saying goodbye and her getting to see me get my life together. I just wanted her to be proud of me. when we left from FL to nc she didn't have me or my sisters anymore. I feel that after she got sick and felt that she had no one so she didn't want to go on anymore. And I feel so much guilt that I wasn't there in the end to help her. Maybe she would have lived longer. We were so close she used to tell me everything. I miss her, she was a wonderful loving person, mother, grandmother. And Idk if I'll be able to forgive myself. When I was young I prayed with her and believed in God but since I was 19 I became an atheist and now I don't really know what I believe in. But I know I will be praying to whoever is out there for my grandma and asking them to tell her how much I love her and how sorry I am I was too busy messing my life up and not calling like I used to all the time. I hope she knows that wherever she is. My grandmother Marian Harris was a caring, loving, amazing individual who just wanted to be loved and thought of like how thoughtful she was of others. I love her with all my heart and always will and I will tell my daughter all about her great grandmother who she didn't get to know and her name and kindness and goodness will go on and last forever through my children and so forth. I love you grandma.

Maria, Andrea and John, I am so sorry for your  loss. You are in my prayers. Marion was always so very nice to me and I enjoyed her sense of humor.  May The Lord comfort you.

Marion and I had adopted each other and loved each other as family. She was my 2nd mom. She was my miracle. I spent as many days as possible with her for her last 6 months. We truly enjoyed all our time together. We played bingo, went to shows, parties and did arts & crafts. I feel lost without her. I am thankful that she will no longer feel pain and know she is at peace. You will always be with me in my heart. My heart goes out to John & the rest of your children and grandchildren.
