Marcos Antonio Boronat, Jr., of Boynton Beach, FL, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was 46. Marcos was born in Miami, FL on September 24th, 1972, a son of Marcos A. Boronat, Sr and Consuelo Boronat.
Marcos spent his life in service of others as a funeral director for Dignity Memorial in both NY and FL. His compassion, kindness, and focus on helping others were central themes of his life. He loved volunteering time at his church, Saint Joseph's Episcopal Church, lending a helping hand to friends and family, even participating in mission trips abroad. His passion for helping others rivaled only the time he spent with his friends and family. He was always ready for Trivia night, a bike ride, a hike, sushi or Indian food with friends, a game of dominoes, or to kick back on the couch and read a science fiction series or to catch a science fiction movie.
In addition to his parents, Marcos is survived by a large, loving family, including 5 siblings, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and his loving dog Biscuit. He also had a large and lively group of friends with whom he spent many enjoyable hours.
The family will receive friends for a celebration of his life from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Babione-Kraeer Funeral Home, 1100 North Federal Hwy, Boca Raton, FL, 33432.
