Mother has always been the greatest source of comfort for me. As the old saying goes, Mother is like the sweet "Ba Huong" bananas, the first crop glutinous rice, the sweet "lau" cane sugar candy, or the gentle Summer rain as you lie down to sleep at night. One never gets over the loss of one's Mother but can only do the next best thing by holding her memories forever in your heart.

I feel very fortunate to call Ba Ngoai my grandmother. She was so loving and selfless, always putting her family first and it's because of this that we have such a wonderful family. And while I wasn't able to see her as much as I would have liked, I have so many fond memories of our time together and will miss her dearly.

I am so incredibly saddened that my grandma is no longer with us.  She was a kind hearted woman that was very loving.  I wish that we lived closer to her so we could have spent more time with her.  She always made me feel special and loved even though she wasn't near.  She never forgot my birthday and made each and everyone of her grandkids feel loved and cared for.  She will forever be in my memories and heart.  May she rest in peace.

I hope to live a long and wonderful life like Ba Noi ... surrounded by the love and support of all of her family.  I may not have been around as much as I would like as an adult, but I do have my wonderful childhood memories :)  I admire how strong she was and how much she loved each and everyone of us.

My prayers are with you. Thank you for giving me a great family with plenty of aunts, uncles and cousins.
