Kevin was a shiny gem, the light of laughter in so many lives, and a very special, fun-loving dear friend to so many of us.  His light-hearted and fun personality put all of us, that were lucky enough to be called his friend, at ease in his presence.  He was definitely a "one-of-a-kind" man.  He was generous to a fault and his quick wit kept everyone laughing.  He was just plain enjoyable and fun to be around.  I don't think Kevin knew a stranger and he impressed everyone he met with his contagious smile and sincere warmth he felt for people.   I've only had the pleasure of knowing  Kevin for 13 years and have been his sister-in-law for 12 of those years...it's been so much fun having this man in my life.  I will truly miss him.  It's going to be hard, because I wasn't ready to say good-bye yet. I guess the Lord had other plans, but not to my liking.

Barbara, my love and prayers are with you now and always.  I wish so much that I could have come with Larry to be there with you at this time.  I'm so sorry.

Please tell Theressa, Bill, Tyler, Dylan and Brooke that my love and prayers are with them as well.  I know all of you will miss him terribly.  I know he really loved his family and would have done anything to make any one of you happy. His grandchildren are getting "short-changed" of the best grandfather in the world.  My heart goes out to them.

Dear Barbara & Family...It really has been a very long time since we were all the YOUNG family's of Sunrise Golf Village, but you always remember the Good Guy's as Kevin and Barbara. Kevin had a great way of seeing the humor in any situation.  He could make you laugh with just a few words and his smile.  He made work fun and was always willing to share his wisdom.  He will live on in many fond memories and his family is in my prayers.

Kevin was one of the most fun people I have ever met.  I'll never forget all the great golf weekends we all shared - especially the ones at Cape Coral where Kevin, Bob Miller, Ron Dodds & Rick Morse would show up dressed in some of the most ourageous & funny outfits; and, the one at Sebring when we played in 40 degree weather & Kevin was stationed at the rest room to give all the girls a big bear hug!

Kevin will be missed...he was one of a kind, and such a kind human being.  Every time he would come to our office, he would give you a hug and a kiss on the cheek.  I will never forget his smiling face!

Kevin will always hold a very special place in my heart. I will never forget the kindness he and Barbara showed me while at West Point after my father's death and when I moved to Sunrise in 1983. Kevin was always quick with a smile and a helping hand. I remember fondly the Friday night bowling league, Kevin getting me a job at Gory Roof Tile and baked ziti with a side order of sausage (I forget the restaurant)! I'm also glad we had two opportunities to meet in Vegas over the past few years. My kids remembered his shoe getting stuck in the road and coming off in front of the M&M factory. I have known Kevin for 36 years, and I have nothing but fond memories of him. He had the best sense of humor, and could make you laugh no matter what. He loved life and knew how to how fun. I will miss him and his unmistakable laugh.

I'll never forget all the fun times we had on the softball fields and on the golf courses. Kev lived life to the fullest and his smile was contagious.  We shared laughter and tears and I will miss him terribly.  Rest in peace, dear friend.  Erin Go Bragh.
