Aunt Joy you are loved and missed. I think of you and your beautiful family often.  

I will always remember Joy as a compassionate and caring individual working with children.  Wishing the family Peace at this Sad Time. My favorite memory of Joy Auntie was visiting her in Florida.  She was so proud of her mango tree that had survived a hurricane.  She told me stories of when her girls were the age my daughters were at the time.   My daughter Olivia hated anything in her hair but JoyAuntie convinced her that Palm tree ponytails were cool because her cousins wore them when they were small.   Olivia and Elise let her comb and Palm tree pony their hair.  When we got back to Michigan they couldn’t wait to go to school and show their friends.     Joy Auntie also went through all of her daughters books and handed down a giant box of Disney books which I still have and will always cherish. I’m looking forward to passing them back to her first grand baby.  We shared our love of Girl Scouts and being a Troop leader.   Whenever you were around JoyAuntie it was hard not to smile...she was so warm and loving.   She accepted me into the family and supported me.  Even after I divorced and we weren’t technically family she continued to send Christmas cards to me and my kids.  It meant so much to us.   Mostly the past few years especially she has been there for my daughters. JoyAuntie you will be deeply missed. Your beautiful daughters are going to keep you alive with their memories.
