Joe was indeed a gracious and kind person and was a neighbor of my parents in Rainberry Park.  He will indeed be missed by all that had a chance to meet and interact with him.  

What can I say about Joe Jones, other than he was a legend? 

I am beyond proud to have called him my father-in-law, and he was always there for my son and my family. We never felt like anything but a part of the Joneses. That was just who he was. Joe always made you feel included and loved, like your opinion and your presence mattered to him - always! 

I have seen so many of his coworkers post special memories, and I know they feel his loss tremendously and share in the family's pain.  

I know they will always cherish the memories of this remarkable soul and hold him forever in their hearts. And Joe will always hold his family and friends with him. 

Me Jones was a wonderful man! Witty, smart and loved his family! 
For one of his birthdays. I can’t remember which one. Jenni and I dressed up as pirates and sang some pirate song then told stupid pirate jokes! It was hilarious! 
Another birthday party he was dressed up as Indiana Jones! Loved it! 
Every time I would visit the Jones’ home I was always greeted with warmth and kindness. 
He was a true gem and will be terribly missed.

Sending prayers of strength and comfort for the Jones family. Joe was a great man who was admired and respected by all. He was a joy to work with and proud of his wife, children and grandchildren. He always brought a smile and lifted the spirit of others. I know he will continue to watch over his family with love. Rest In Peace Joe. 


Sorry to hear the sad news.  Joe was such a great person.  He hired me as his Administrative Assistant for my first job at NCCI back in 1991.  He was great to work for.  So kind and understanding.  Always lending an ear and support regarding family.  We shared a common interest in family Disney trips.  Fun to catch up on old times at the Quarter Century Club gatherings.  My heart goes out to Jo Ann and their family.  He will be missed.

I miss my friend Joe.  
At NCCI, Joe was so knowledgeable and resourceful.  I loved his stories about the New York office.  Joe Jones was a celebrity, NCCI royalty, but so approachable.  Whenever I (in Experience Rating) needed carrier assistance, I could count on Joe to help me find the answer.  And when a data provider needed ER help, Joe was so great about being the intermediary.  He was also good about returning the favor.  I will never forget him walking to my desk with a hard copy unit stat correction report requesting a rating be revised.  Of course, Joe had to teach me the unit report layout first.  
We shared a love for the Marlins.  Joe, his daughter Lisa, and I lamented the big move from “Joe Robbie” stadium to Marlins Park as it meant a longer drive.  But he continued to make the trek for every Opening Day.  Even in a post-world series crowd, it wasn’t uncommon to run into Joe at a Marlins game.  Thousands of people, but you always ran into Joe Jones. 
When Jennifer came to the ER System Support team, I was so excited to have a “Jones” join us.  I was extending the legacy in a small way.  I think Joe was happy too.  He smiled his big Joe Jones’ smile that said it all.  RIP Joe.
