Jorge Alberto Forero Cleves

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Jorge Alberto Forero Cleves, born on June 11, 1970, in Bogotá, Colombia to Luis Alberto Forero de Francisco and Josephine (Pina) Cleves de Forero. Jorge’s heart stopped unexpectedly on September 23, 2024, at his home in Marlborough, Massachusetts. In 1981, Jorge’s family moved to Boca Ratón, Florida, where he attended Verde Elementary, Logger’s Run Middle School and later graduated from Spanish River High School. Jorge went into the field of radiology, paving the path for groundbreaking MRI programs as an MRI Clinical Development Specialist in the Applied Science Lab of G.E Health Care, having earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of California at San Francisco. Known for his intellectual curiosity and generosity, Jorge touched the lives of all who knew him.

He loved his daughters, Cecilia Grace Forero and Eliana Pilar Forero with every fiber of his being. His devotion to his entire family was unwavering. Jorge is survived by his daughters, his parents, as well as his siblings: Juan Carlos Forero and his wife Julie (Carson) Forero, and their daughters Olivea Forero and Sofia Forero; Dr. Pilar Forero Taylor and her husband Rev. Dr. David Taylor, sons Christian Andres Hammock Forero, Connor Ethan Hammock Forero, Collin Nicholas Hammock Forero, and Andrew Taylor; and Camilo Forero and his husband Kyle McKenna; as well as his extended family in Colombia. Jorge’s love for his family, his faith, and his community was boundless.

A Catholic Mass Funeral will be held at St. John the Evangelist, 10300 Yamato Road Boca Raton, FL 33498 on October 10th at 10am. The mass will be available on livestream via the Church's Facebook:

Celebration of Life will follow at Babione Funeral Home at 10060 Calle Comercio Drive, Boca Raton, FL, 33428 from 12pm-3pm. Inurnment of the remains will occur at the convenience of the family.
