James A. Culhane, 67, of Boca Raton, FL passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Hospice by the Sea in Boca Raton. James was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 28, 1948 a son of James and Eileen Culhane. James dedicated his life to serving and protecting, not only the family he loved and is loved by so dearly, but also as a proud firefighter for over 23 years and a brave Veteran of the US Navy. James’s unwavering loyalty and commitment to family and his wonderful sense of humor, in both good times and in bad, was enjoyed and appreciated to the end of his life. His loving, generous, and resilient spirit will forever live on in the hearts and minds of those he leaves behind.
Surviving James is his loving wife Lilian Robinson, daughters Kristen Culhane and Noelle Balsamo, sister Eileen Sharp, and his treasured grandchildren Nikoli Bargas, Sebastian Bargas, Kateri Balsamo, Arabella Balsamo, and Chiara Balsamo. In remembrance together, we will continue to celebrate the gift of life and love as was his expressed wishes for us all.
