Manolakis, George, 81 of Tamarac, Florida, passed away June 19, 2011 surrounded by his family. George was born in NY, NY on September 9, 1929 and relocated to Coral Springs, FL in 1973. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Vasila; a daughter Melody (Gus) Manolakis-Jones; a son Jordan Manolakis; a sister Diane( John) Pangarliotas; three nieces: Jeanne, Johanna, Stacy and a nephew, Jimmy. A visitation will be Thursday, June 23, 2011, 2-4 & 6:30-8:30pm with a service at 7pm at Babione Funeral Home, 1100 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton. A funeral service will be 10:30am, Friday, June 24 at St. Mark Greek Orthodox Church, 2100 NW 51 st Street, Boca Raton, FL, 33431.
