Francis “Frank” J. Mulhall of Boca Raton, FL, went to be with God in peace, and without pain or fear, on Friday, August 4, 2023, after a year-long battle with cancer. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle.
Frank was born in Norristown, PA on February 28, 1963. He was the son of the late John T. Mulhall, Jr. and the late Eugenia “Jean” (née Felice) Mulhall. He graduated from Fairport High School in Fairport, NY in 1981, from St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY in 1985, and from Syracuse University Law School in Syracuse, NY in 1988.
Frank was an accomplished and respected member of the Florida Bar who practiced law in Palm Beach County for 35 years. He was a devout believer and courageous follower of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As a Christian, he dedicated himself to God’s service. In all things, Frank was a man of faith, honor, and integrity. He possessed an exceptional wit, keen intellect, and boundless curiosity, as well as an appreciation of all things beautiful, especially art and architecture.
Frank was happiest when spending time with his family, friends and beloved pets. Predeceased by his parents in 2021, Frank is survived by the love of his life, his wife, April F. Mulhall, and his son, Matthew F. Mulhall, both of Boca Raton; his brother and sister-in-law, John T. Mulhall III and Lisa N. Mulhall of Boca Raton; his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Jean Stevens and Martin J. Stevens of Nashville, TN; his mother-in-law, Joan Forshew Albrecht, and her husband, Harry Albrecht of Hudson, OH; his sister-in-law, Heather Morgan and her husband, Reece Morgan of Wake Forest, NC; his brother-in-law, David Forshew, and his wife, Kirsten Forshew of Medina, OH; as well as nieces and nephews Patrick Stevens, Grace Stevens, Megan Mulhall, John T. Mulhall IV, Michael Mulhall, Benjamin and Hannah Morgan, Mallory Morgan, Abbi and Duncan Hinson, David Morgan and Kamron Forshew. Frank will also be missed by his constant and faithful canine companions, Duke and Layla.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 10300 Yamato Road, Boca Raton, Florida at 10 AM on Friday, August 25th. In addition, St. John the Evangelist will live stream the Mass and Memorial Service. A private, immediate family only inurnment will follow at 11:30 at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, TX; St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN; or Trustbridge Hospice Foundation of Palm Beach County.
