Eddie was always cocky growing up and thought he knew it all, then he met me. He would challenge me and I him. He also thought that the Easter bunny was real as he would run around looking for baskets and could not find them and then in the middle of the night the baskets would magically appear as I made the baskets and delivered them until one night he faked sleeping and caught me. 
He also learned not to leave me alone in the house for a week and when he came home all the furniture was moved to different rooms and when he turned on the ceiling fan, he was covered in confetti. 
Eddie was a good kid growing up and it's been a while since I saw him, but he grew up and became responsible.  
He will be missed by many.

Eddie was one of my closest friends for years. I will forever cherish all the fun times we had together. You are going to missed by so many, and you always lit up a room with that beautiful smile of yours. Always knew how to cheer me up when I was down. My heart goes out to your family and kids. I'll keep them all in my thoughts and prayers.

Eddie was a kind soul with a heart bigger than life itself.He was always there for myself and anyone else that needed him. Always my voice of reason.No matter the circumstances Eddie could always make you laugh.You will be missed but I always have the memories.Thanks for all the laughs and smiles my friend. 

Eddie was a great friend he was the first friend I made when I moved here.. no matter what he was always there for you I'll never meet anyone else like him.. always be remembered never forgotten 

I've spent all day trying to think of the right words, and have come to realise there are no right words. I have 1000s of happy memories with Eddie, him making me laugh, him looking out for me, and just his friendship. Eddie was a loyal friend through and through, I knew, no matter how long it had been if I asked Eddie for help, he'd do everything he could to help me. He was always the funny one, the one being silly and making everyone laugh, but beyond that he was a calm and constant presence. My fondest memories of Eddie are us just hanging out, doing nothing in particular, doing back scratches, knocking on each other's bedroom windows and just chatting. I have known Eddie for 27 years, in middle school and high school he was my protecter and I was his friend who made him do his homework. Looking at us from the outside we would look like total opposites, and we were! But that's what made us perfect friends, we balanced each other out. In recent years I've not been able to see Eddie in person as we live so far apart, but we kept in touch through Facebook. It was so special to see him blossom as a father, to see how his world revolved around his family. He was so proud of his brother Stevie and his other siblings. My favourite photos of Eddie are from Stevie and Mariel's wedding. In those photos you see the true Eddie - happy, relaxed and enjoying spending time with his family. I know his mum meant the world to him, she has supported him through thick and thin and he has always valued that. When he moved away from Florida he would message me and ask me to look out for his mum. Eddie was a true, loving and loyal family man. I will miss him so very greatly, as will so many other people, a true testament to what a special person he was. 

So sorry for the loss of our loved one, it was totally unexpected. The only comfort we have is knowing Eddie is in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father.  May God watch over his children, Kara, Amaya, Jade, Kayden and Tyler.  It is a terrible loss for them and the entire Torres Family. I ask God to comfort each one of you during this sad time. I have many fond memories of Eddie and his wonderful family. “ Go rest high on that mountain Eddie.”   Rest in Heavenly peace. ♥️
