SMITH, Edna M., a resident of Boca Raton, FL for 42 years passed away peacefully at home on August 1, 2010. She was born in Buffalo, NY to the late George and Mary Harhuit Dziedz. She is survived by daughters, Lorraine A. Gurto of Conneaut, OH and Diane E. Arroyo of Boca Raton, FL; sons, Howard G. (Cathy) Smith of Gowanda, NY, Daniel A. Smith of Pompano Beach, FL and William J. (Debra) Smith of Buffalo, NY; 25 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren and 3 nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by a daugher, Joyce M. Thomas, and a son, John F. Smith, 3 sisters, 3 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, and 3 sons-in-laws. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8PM at Babione Funeral Home, East Chapel on Thursday, August 5, 2010. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Ascension Catholic Church on Friday, August 6, 2010 at 11AM, burial will follow at Boca Raton Cemetery.
