David Joseph Clark

David Joseph Clark, 63, of Boca Raton, FL passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016. David was born January 1, 1953 in Dublin, Ireland. After spending his younger years in the Northeast David permanently relocated to South Florida. David loved all things Irish, especially interesting books, music, photography and the arts. Dave worked for the U.S Forestry Service early in his career and courageously fought forest fires in the west. He was a key member of family owned business Cross Country Healthcare headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida where for many years he successfully managed the Housing department providing accommodations for thousands of RNs nationwide. Later he was employed by Onward Healthcare, American Traveler and Boca Surgical Supply utilizing his data management expertise. He volunteered in times of need such as major storms like Hurricane Andrew where he lead efforts for delivery of much needed relief supplies as an early responder. Surviving David are his two sons, Brandon Clark and Emmet Clark, both of Boca Raton and their mother, Linda Clark, his brothers, Kevin Clark, of New Canaan, CT and Kenneth Clark of Monroe, CT, his sisters Diane Bok, of Boca Raton and Gina Des Cognets, of Norwich, VT, his natural mother Kathleen Gallagher of Foxford Mayo Ireland, four sisters Pat, Margaret, Nuala, Joesphine and two brother Anthony and Roddy Gallagher and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends. David and his kind demeanor will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. David was preceded in death by his parents Milton and Vera Clark and a sister Michele O’Donnell. The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Babione – Kraeer Funeral Home, 1100 North Federal Hwy, Boca Raton, FL 33432. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 370 SW 3rd St, Boca Raton, FL 33432. Burial will immediately follow at the Boca Raton Cemetery.
