September 11, 2018 - Beloved daughter of the late George Fazekas and Mildred Simon. Survived by sister Christian LaLumia (Jim, deceased), nieces Sara LaLumia, and Angela Welch (Dan). Sister Rnay Gorski, nephews Jason Gorski (Mohammed Zarka) and John Gorski. Sister Vercel Coubrough (Rodger), nephew Bryn Coubrough. Brother Thais Fazekas (Patti), nieces Jacqueline Fazekas, Racquelle Fazekas, and Nicquelette Fazekas, nephew Zechariah Fazekas. Brother Kuyer Fazekas (Debra), niece Elizabeth Fazekas and nephew Kuyer Fazekas Jr (Hannah), and long time, close friend Michael Belloli. Cindy’s passion and chosen career was teaching elementary school music. She taught music at Whispering Pines Elementary School, Boca Raton, FL for the last twelve years. Cindy ran three of the school’s music clubs and organized student performances in the school and in the community. She also taught private music lessons to children and adults. Through her positive encouragement, Cindy inspired everyone to enjoy the artistic & theoretical aspects of the music world. She was an avid reader, book collector, & traveler. Cindy travelled often, visiting family and friends in the US as well as Europe and New Zealand. As a sports fan, Cindy enjoyed following all sports especially Ohio teams. With a love for the ocean, water sports (kayaking, snorkeling, water skiing), and snow skiing, she took every opportunity to spend as much time as possible with family enjoying these activities.
