Charlie, as he was affectionately called, was born on December 26, 1947, in Bronx, New York. He was the only child born to the late Charles and Laura Morales. Charlie relocated with his parents from Long Island, New York to Lauderhill, Florida a couple of years after graduating Carson Long Military Institute. On February 10, 1972, Charlie graduated from the fire academy and became a Fort Lauderdale Firefighter and eventually retired to Wellington, Florida.
Charlie leaves behind his loving wife of 50 years, Jeanette, his daughter Andrea, his son Chuck, his son-in-law Julian, daughter-in-law Toni, and his proudest achievements, his four grandchildren, Jenson, Vincent, Nicholas, and Gabriella.
In lieu of flowers, his family has requested donations be made “In Memory of Charles Morales” to the “Fort Lauderdale Fire and Safety Museum” located at 1022 West Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312.
