Our hearts  are saddened to lose a Special lady-our friend-our neighbor. She was like family to us! Always caring & sharing  her lifetime memories of her family & Dear friends❤️  We  loved  her stories from Hong  Kong to France, Madagascar to England…such an interesting life!!whether,  we were chatting by the mailbox, or having  wine & cheese, dinner,  we laughed  all the time along with music & dance! We shared similar interests which made it even nicer! We shared so many fun times from French cafes to backyard dinners.  & the love of nature with the birds, bees and flowers! Her & Ian shared their  beautiful home and garden with French desserts & their delicious Curry  dish & Paella  !!! We feel so lucky to have gotten to know her and Ian and her family that she shared with us  in the last 20 years! I  can go on & on… but I want the world to know that she will never be forgotten . she will continue to live in our  hearts &  memories. Each day we  are thankful for her  friendship, love, Joy & Beauty within her! We love you Cathy & will miss you forever in our hearts .

One of the first photos , taken 63 years ago in my parents garden , in Barnstaple, UK ,  the start of a very long and special friendship. We spent nearly all our teenage summers together, such memories we had, & I will forever cherish them . Cathy was such a free and wonderful spirit , embracing life to the full, with a heart of gold . Dennis and I will miss Cathy so very much.  She was a dear friend and neighbor for so many years.  I will miss our coffee times, luncheons, dinners, and talks, and lessons on orchid care. Cathy was a great listener and I loved listening to the stories of her travels around the world.  She was  a strong, compassionate woman who I truly admired.  Cathy was an elegant lady.
