Brian F. Upton

Brian was born on October 29th, 1959, in Flushing, NY, to Arthur and Patricia Upton. He received his Political Science degree from C.W. Post at Long Island University and went on to enjoy a flourishing career in finance and business for over 30 years. He raised two daughters, Alexandra and Olivia, and two sons, Gregory and Jonathan. Brian married the love of his life, Lauri Upton, on December 21st, 2012 and gained two caring step-children, Jason Cole and Sarah Fiore.

Brian had a fondness for great food and drink, travel, football, and above all, his loving family. His penchant for sarcasm and larger-than-life sense of humor brought joy and laughter to all that were lucky enough to meet him. He leaves those closest to him with the happiest memories of crisp fall barbecues and lighthearted family feasts. Brian’s quick wit, mirthful smile, and magnanimous heart will not be forgotten.

Brian was preceded in death by his father, Arthur, and mother, Patricia. He is survived by his wife, Lauri, his children Alexandra Moody (Jason), Gregory, Jonathan (Angel), and Olivia, his step-children, Jason and Sarah, his brother Kevin, his sisters, Kerry Winicki (Ronnie) and Maureen Sybil (Shane), his grandchildren, Theodore and Sunday, his step-grandchildren, Cora and Olivia, his nieces, Kristina, Kayla, Reilly, and Aspen, his nephews, Kyle, Brayden, and Roman, as well as the mother of his children, Maryellen Jornet Upton. He also leaves behind many adoring friends.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 12th at the Babione-Kraeer Funeral Home (1100 N. Federal Hwy) from 5:00-8:00 PM, followed by a mass on Wednesday, January 13th at St. Joan of Arc Church of Boca Raton at 10:30 AM.
