He is survived by his son, Robert (Mary Beth) Cosentino, his sisters Betty De Flavees, Angelina Rent, his sister-in-law Delia Lugo, his nephew Pablo Lugo, sister-in-law Genevive Cosentino, his nieces, nephews and their children.
Armand was born in Philadelphia, PA where he studied music. He served his country during World War II in the US Navy. He sang professionally for many years in the Philadelphia La Scala Opera Company and the Charles Wagner Opera Company. He later became the director of training for Rose Auto Stores.
Armand loved oil painting and singing opera with his son. Five years ago he found his home church; Calvary Grace Chapel. He said some of the best years of his life were with his church family and studying the Bible. One of his favorite scriptures was "In my Father's house there are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you." John 14:2
The family has requested either potted roses in lieu of arrangements for his memorial garden or a donation to Calvary Grace Chapel, 100 Cambridge Lane, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411 calvarygracechapel.org The memorial service will be performed by Pastor Ryan Borkan and Pastor Tim Amantangelo at Babione Funeral Home, 1100 N Federal Hwy., Boca Raton, FL 33442 on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 2pm. The burial service will be Monday, May 23, 2016.
