Tony is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Theresa Spadea Succo, his son Anthony Robert Succo (Judith Succo), his daughter, Cheryl Ann Stone (Kenneth A. Smith), and his four grandchildren, Jennifer Mishoe, Courtney Stone, Anthony Michael Succo, and Lisa Ann Succo. He was the proud great grandfather of Reagan Mishoe whom he loved seeing via Facetime. Also surviving are his brother John A. Succo (Varian Succo) and his sister Joanne P. Giordano (John Giordano).
Mr. Succo served as Chief Administrator at Staten Island’s Richmond Memorial Hospital for 12 years. He earned a reputation as a compassionate leader who shepherded the Hospital into a modern facility. He served on several Boards and was President of Staten Island Rotary in 1975.
Since his retirement in 1989, Mr. Succo resided in Boca Raton, FL. There, he volunteered at the Boca Raton Sheriff’s Office.
Despite physical challenges which he had endured since childhood, his sunny personality drew people to him. He enjoyed a very active life. He traveled extensively and was an avid sports fan. His love of life was his motivation, which attracted a host of friends and family to him. Tony will be lovingly remembered.

Visitors will be welcomed on Sunday, July 5, 2020 from 1PM -5PM, where there will be a viewing, a church service and refreshments.
