Wow. Al was truly an awesome guy. We worked together at Bluegreen Corporation and from the first day I met AL, he always had a kind word and warm greeting for everyone he encountered. All was a caring and generous man who never hesitated to share a story of his days in the military when he was stationed on the island of Puerto Rico and he had an outstanding adoration for the Catholic Church and its teachings. I still have the many pamphlets and literature that he collected at Sunday Mass and brought in to share with his fellow employees. Over the years, we all grew to know and love Al for his kindness, his caring demeanor, his love for people and not to mention his witty sense of humor.  Al Nelson will certainly be missed, but we all know that he is in Heaven right now being himself. Rest in eternal peace, Al. Your friend, Gregorio Garcia.
