David served in the army, stationed at Fort Riley, KS 1st Infantry, and Germany. He received sharp shooter and expert grenade medals. David loved to play, coach, and watch sports. He could fix (or try to fix) anything. Above all else, David loved his family so very much.
David is survived by loving spouse Robbie Harper; daughter, Kelly (Keith) Knier; son, David (Ashley) Harper; grandsons, David, Mason, Deacon; granddaughters, McKenzy and Eliana; brothers, Kenneth (Aleda) Harper and Jonathan (Lorraine) Campman; mother-in-law, Gloria Murray; sisters-in-law, Nancy (Joseph) Kukucka and Bonnie (Timothy) McCullough; brother-in-law, Robert (Amy) Murray; lots of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Francis and Vera Harper; his sister, Lynne Conner; his twin brother, Donald Harper; and his brother, William Harper; and nephew, Rick Conner.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 22, 2020, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with military honors at 3:00 PM, at Otterbein United Methodist Church, 181 Walnut St, Mont Clare, PA. Come share memories and food with family.
