William John Hirth

William John Hirth, 93, of Bloomington passed away, Tuesday, April 18, 2023 in Bloomington Nursing and Rehab. He was born October 10, 1929 in Bicknel to Harley Raymond Hirth and Mary Reed Wilson Hirth. He was retired from NWSC Crane.

Survivors include his nephew, Steven (Katrina) Boruff of Bloomington; and nephew Jeffery’s wife, Mary Ellen Boruff. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Janice Miller Hirth; a sister, Maribel Boruff; and two nephews, Ronald Boruff and Jeffrey Boruff.

Bill had been a member of various churches in his lifetime including Bethel Christian Church, Springville Community Church and Pine Wood Church. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Air Force.

Graveside Services will be held at Dishman Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home.
