Virginia H Davis

Virginia H. Scutt Davis, 97 of Bloomington and formerly of Bloomfield died Thursday August 22, 2013 in Garden Villa Health Care Center. She was born March 24, 1916 in Evansville, IN to George Scutt and Clara Blick Scutt. She was a homemaker and regularly attended Bloomfield Wesleyan Church.

She is survived by her brother-in-law, Virgil Davis and his wife Irene of Bloomfield; two sisters-in-law, Isabelle Binkley and her husband Delmar of Ashland City, TN and Grace Davis; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Davis in 1997; her parents; 4 brothers, George Scutt, Jr., Morris Scutt, Russell Scutt and Marion Scutt; and a sister, Betty VanOsdol.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday August 27, 2013 in Day Funeral Home, 4150 East 3rd Street, at 1:00 P.M. with Pastors Troy Shaffer and Ben Colburn officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield. Visitation is scheduled prior to services on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
