Vicki Lee Hunter

Vicki Lee Hunter, 63 of Spencer died Friday morning, May 29, 2015 in her home. She was born June 16, 1951 in Bloomington to Don Jenkins and Helen Jolliff Jenkins. She had been employed for over 39 years at Cook, Inc.

Survivors include her mother, Helen Jenkins of Solsberry; four children, Robin Workman and her husband Steve of Bloomfield, Renee Langley and her husband Scott of Spencer, Rob Hunter and his wife Damita of Spencer and Gina Hunter of Bloomington; three sisters, Carol Whaley and her husband Jim of Solsberry, Lynn Combs of Bloomington and Donna Halstead of Ellettsville; ten grandchildren, Courtni Drake, Tori Langley, Shane Warthan, Baylee Hunter, Tara Langley, twins Alli and Averi Workman, Travis Warthan, Levi Warthan and Hunter Warthan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Don Jenkins; and a brother-in-law, Jack Halstead.

Vicki had been working and preparing for retirement so she could devote more time to her grandchildren.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Thursday June 4, 2015 at 11:00 AM in Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, 700 W. Gourley Pike, with Pastor Alan Lewis officiating. Entombment will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
