Shirley Kay Allbright died unexpectedly on January 14, 2018 in I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. Shirley was a lifelong resident of Bloomington. She was born on February 5, 1943 to the late John Dugan and Altha (Purtelbaugh)Sipes. Shirley worked at Cook Medical for many years as an assembler.
She is survived by her two daughters; Crystal(husband Rick)Stromatt of Bedford and D'Adra Allbright of Bloomington. She is also survived by five grandchildren who will cherish her memory: Charles Gray, Sam Gray, Jasmine Stromatt, Tara Stromatt and Brooke Stromatt.
Visitation for Shirley will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. in Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E. Third St. Bloomington, Indiana. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. following the visitation with Pastor Danny Geons officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
