Roy Allen Egan, age 68, of Hendricksville, passed away Friday morning, May 12, 2023 at his residence. Born November 10, 1954 in Bloomington, Indiana, he was the son of Roy and Virginia Ruth (May) Egan. Roy had been employed through his working life at Westinghouse, Valhalla Memory Gardens, Otis Elevator, Pizza Hut and Apple Tree Cleaning. He enjoyed fishing and watching westerns on T.V. He attended the Richland Church of Christ.
Roy is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Lea (Monroe) Egan, of Hendricksville and his feline fur babies, Stripes and Callie.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Don Egan.
A graveside funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Liberty Cemetery on McVille Rd; Hendricksville. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home; 4150 E. Third St.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Liberty Cemetery Fund or to Southern Care Hospice.
