Rose Marie Burch, age 77, of Springville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2024 at the Richland Bean Blossom Health Care Center. Born February 14, 1947 in Linton, Indiana, she was the daughter of Wandley “Wob” Burch and Ruby Alice (Bartley) Burch. Rose graduated from Eastern Greene High School, class of 1965. She worked as a nursing assistant at Bloomington Hospital. She was a member of the West Second Street Church of Christ and loved to travel.
Rose is survived by her brother, David (Patti) Burch, of Springville, Indiana; two nieces, Suella Burch, of Bloomington and Joanna (Jeff) Voors, of Upland, Indiana; six great-nieces and nephews, Lennon Martin, of Bloomington and Corrina Nordhoff, Ella Marie Nordhoff, Will Voors, Maddy Voors and Ella Voors, all, of Upland, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two nephews in infancy, Neal Eric Burch and Jeremy David Burch.
The funeral service will be on Wednesday, June 19 at 1:00 p.m. at the Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home in Bloomington. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
