Survivors include his daughter, Deana Breedlove of Bloomington; two sons, Kevin (TJ) and Randy Banks, both of Bloomington; step daughter, Pat (Larry) Stuckey of Brazil, IN; seven grandchildren, Valarie Osborn, Jason Breedlove, Mickey Breedlove, Ashley (Cody) Chandler, Crystal Banks, Justin Banks, Mathew (Kaylee) Jacobs all of Bloomington and Tyler (Michael) Shoop of the Netherlands; three step grandchildren, Jeff Stuckey, Jon Stuckey and Jennifer (Matt) of Kansas City; 10 great grandchildren which he loved dearly and was very proud of them all; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sylvia Banks; three brothers, Harry, Claude and Jim Banks; a sister, Phyllis Andis; two daughters, Lori Banks and Debra Banks; and two grandchildren, J. D. Littlejohn and Kayla Marie Banks.
Robert spend 39 years working for Monon, L&N and CSX Rail Roads, he had also worked at Wal-Mart for 5 years. He was a devoted father, grandfather and a friend to many, he never met a stranger. Everyone loved to hear his stories, he loved NASCAR, the Colts and I.U. Sports. He was a Member of Owensburg Baptist Church and a Mason and a Shriner.
There will be a Memorial Gathering on Thursday, March 3, 2022 form 4:00 -8:00 PM in Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel, 700 W Gourley Pike.
