Richard M. McDowell, 85 passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family in Hearthstone Health Campus on December 30, 2014.
Richard was born in Raleigh, NC to the late Dyer and Mary Agnes(Moroney)McDowell on December 22, 1929. He attended Purdue University. He married Marilyn Reardon on August 6, 1955.
Richard was a career military man serving in the US Air Force for 20 years as a recruiting officer.
Richard is survived by his loving wife Marilyn of 59 years, three daughters: Mary McDowell, Donna(Bruce Morris)McDowell, Ann(Jerry)Headdy and one son: Michael McDowell. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be held in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
