Mildred Lucille Robbins, 88 of Bloomington died Tuesday, October 4, 2016 in her home. She was born June 22, 1928 in Trinity Springs, Indiana to Joseph Jewell and LuElla Rush Jewell. She was retired from Westinghouse.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Robbins and his wife Pat of Summerville, SC and Stephen Robbins and his wife Elaine of Greenwood; a daughter, Sherri Fleenor and her husband Robert of Scottsburg; and a granddaughter, Shelby Worley. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 62 years, Bruce Robbins; and her siblings.
She was a 60 year member of South Union Christian Church and enjoyed bowling and playing pinochle.
Graveside Services will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2016 in South Union Christian Church Cemetery, 6510 S Rockport Rd. with Pastor Jim Cain officiating. The family will have a gathering of family and friends on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM in Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, 700 W Gourley Pike.
