She was born on September 2, 1955 in Davenport, Iowa to Charles and Phyllis (Larsen) Gott.
Melissa worked as a Home Health Nurse; was a graduate of Indiana University; very active in Bible Studies and of the Christian faith.
Survivors include her father, Charles Gott of Gosport, IN; one daughter, Angela Nicola of Bloomington, IN; one son, Evan Nicola of Bloomington, IN. She also leaves her fiancé, David Robertson of Gosport, IN; a sister, Heather Gott of Orleans, IN, and a brother, Stewart Gott of Raleigh, NC. Melissa was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Gott.
Visitation will be on Thursday, April 29, 2010 from 4 to 8 PM at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary in Bloomington, IN. Funeral services will be on Friday, April 30, 2010 at 11 AM with an hour of calling from 10 to 11 AM on Friday at the mortuary; Rev. Gary Brinson will officiate. Burial will be at Hudson Hills Cemetery.
