She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. James Moore; parents Ernest and Ruby Sedam; brothers Robert, Harve, Richard, and infant Larry Sedam; sisters Jeanne Strope; Kay Lee and infant Marilyn Sedam. Surviving are her brother Bernard (Virginia) Sedam; children Karen (Steve) Hunter; Kevin (Michelle) Moore; Kelly (Patricia) Moore; and Kamela (Rick) Duff; brother-in-law Joe Lee; sisters-in-law Phyllis Sedam, Linda Sedam, and Ann Sedam; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
As a Pastor’s wife, Marge attended many Baptist churches through the years and was most recently a member at McDoel Baptist Church in Bloomington. She quietly served in each church and shared the love of Christ through her words and actions. Church was an important part of her life. She loved church dinners, southern gospel music, and classic TV shows.
She was kind and gentle and her family was an important and sustaining part of her life. She delighted in family parties and loved seeing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed card games and board games played with family.
Public visitation will be held on Monday, August 30, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. with a celebration of life service at noon at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E. Third Street in Bloomington, IN. Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the DuPont Cemetery in Dupont, IN.
