Linda K. Williams, age 61, of Bloomington, died Sunday afternoon at I.U. Health; Bloomington Hospital. Born October 6, 1950 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Roscoe and Esta (Grubb) Allen. She was a homemaker, an avid reader and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She formerly was an avid Bingo player at the Moose Lodge where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and at the V.F.W.
She is survived by her loving husband, Rex Williams, of Bloomington; daughter and son-in-law, Laura Jean and David Harding, of Bloomington; one son, Rex Williams, Jr., of Bloomington; four sisters, Loretta Goodman, Colleen Grubb, Patricia Allen and Sue Hetherington, all of Bloomington; one brother, Darrell Allen, of Bloomington; five grandchildren, Preston, Joshua, Christopher, Mackenzie, and Jacob and one great-grandson, Joshua II. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Norma Jean Drake, Cassie Hanner and Pamela Cox.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene and Harrell Chapel. According to Linda’s wishes there will no funeral service.
The family suggests to friends who wish that memorial contributions be given to Deremiah-Frye Mortuary to help with the expenses.
