Linda D. Jenson, age 66, of Bloomington, died unexpectedly Monday morning at I.U. Health; Bloomington Hospital. Born May 10, 1947 in Rockport, Indiana, she was the daughter of William “Bill” and Mae (Weatherholt) Carlisle. She retired as a medical office manager. She received an Associate Degree in Medical Technology from the Institute of Medical Technology in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She loved gardening, traveling, Jimmy Buffett concerts and animals, especially her cats Louie and Sophie. Her greatest love in the world was to spend time with her 6 grandchildren who loved her very much. They will dearly miss spending time with Grandma but her memory will be carried with them always.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ron Jenson, of Bloomington; her son Mike (Ann Francis) Jenson, of Nashville, Indiana; her two daughters, Becky (Chuck) Rose, of Bloomington and Debby (Brian) Nauta, of Avon, Indiana and her six grandchildren, Lizzy, Drew, Max, Ava, Lyla and Molly. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 P.M. Thursday at Day Funeral Home Chapel in Bloomington. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
The family suggests to friends who wish that memorial contributions be given to the Monroe County Humane Association.
