Leona M. Campbell of Bloomington, passed away on July 8, 2017 in I.U. Health Hospice House. Leona was born on April 13, 1927 in Bloomington to the late Charlie and Rhoda(Parsley)Foreman. Leona married Clyde Campbell on December 31, 1949 in Bloomington. Clyde preceded her in death in November of 2000. Leona loved all crafts, especially knitting, crocheting and ceramics. She is survived by her three children: David(wife Shirley)Campbell, Mark(wife Thelma)Campbell and Leisa(husband John)McClure. Leona is also survived by 13 grandchildren: Michelle Campbell, Melissa Campbell, Becky Campbell, Tommy Snodgrass, Jason(wife Katie)Walls, Josh(wife Jenna)Walls, Malissa Campbell, Mark D. Campbell, Gary Stancombe III, Stephen Stancombe, Natasha Stancombe, Josh(wife Lexi)McClure and Travis McClure and five great-grandchildren: Dylan Walls, Colin Walls, Aiden Walls, Emma McFarland and Brooklyn McClure. Leona was preceded in death by her son: Stephen Campbell, her daughter: Sandy Walls, six sisters: Evla Bradley, Lela Fickle, Mable Grubb, Jane Deckard, Beulah Jacobs, Irene Campbell and one brother: Ellis Foreman. Visitation for Leona will be held on July 11, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. in Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E. Third St., Bloomington, IN 47401. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 12 noon also in the funeral home with Richard Reed and Bruce Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Duncan Cemetery.
