Kelsey Reed Day

Kelsey Reed Day, of Bloomington, passed away unexpectedly on March 14, 2016 in Monroe Hospital. He was born on July 19, 1930 in Letcher County, KY to the late Ivory and Bertha(Cole)Day. Kelsey was a teacher and pastor and also worked for Tom O’Daniel Ford and the DNR at Fairfax. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Lou(Beyers)Day, son: Hollis(Pat)Day, two daughters: Marsha(Randy)Fish and Sheila(Maurico)Ledesma, Step-son Ashley Barrow, 9 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and his beloved dogs: Lucy and Bailey. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters, two brothers and one son Daniel. Visitation for Kelsey will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. in Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home 4150 E. Third St., Bloomington, IN 47401.The funeral service will be held on March 18, 2016 at 11 a.m. also in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
