Eugene L. Branam

Eugene Leonard Branam, 96, of Indianapolis and formerly of Bloomington died Tuesday, December 17, 2019 in his residence. He was born December 20, 1922 in Bloomington to Raymond Branam and Mable Wycoff Branam. He was retired from the Physical Plant at Indiana University.
Survivors include his son, Stephen (wife Susan) Branam of Indianapolis; a grandson, Matthew Branam of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his 1st wife, Betty J. Branam; his 2nd wife, Betty H. Branam; a sister, Hilda Dillard; and three brothers, Elmo Branam, Victor Branam and Forrest Branam.
Gene was a World War II Veteran having served in first the U.S. Army Air Corps and then the U.S. Air Force. He then worked for 35 years for Indiana University where he was a statistician in the Physical Plant, he had last attended Clear Creek Christian Church, he enjoyed watching wrestling and I. U. Sports, and taking care of animals.
There will be a Graveside Service on Monday at 1:00 PM in Rose Hill Cemetery with Pastor Les Rovenstine officiating and Military Honors provided by the Monroe County Veterans Honor Guard.
