I knew Mrs. Newton a long time ago and just found out she passed away in 2018. I spent quite a bit of time with her when I was in my 20's. As everyone knows, Mr. Newton was in the construction business and Mrs. Newton and I had briefly contemplated creating a woman's minority-owned business in Florida. We were going to call in Con-Est, for Contracting and Estimating. Also, it was a combination of our names Connie (Con) and Esther (Est). She was witty, intelligent, and generous. I think of her, Bill, and their miracle child, Matt often. Rest in peace, my friend. You meant a lot to me and helped shape me into the woman I am today. All my love, always....

My dear Esther...I miss you much...and feel so grateful.

It is already a year that your voice remains so clear, as we have to part our ways, where only hope, could thread our hearts again.

Moms are  made so skilfully, that when engraved in the masters hands, we know... that he dressed them with that loving fragance, that never quits, quilting our path,  with her virtuous hands; until a master piece, came through, with colours that God created for us.

It is an empowering feeling, to know, that  your virtue became the butterfly of written words, that dwell within,  embracing each moment that was built with your determined resolved.

I learned so many things with mom, specially to keep a crispy attitude while in the storms and a bubbling laugher while in the snow. To cook the stews and kneat the live, that will keep me going... one day at a time...to smile in challenge and frawn when angry, but never allow sour in my wed chamber.

My Esther keeps a unique place within..the way she looks and played with me, stories told of wars and love, as we share Kenneth, David, or William memories or her loving family that she cared for so much.

A virtuous friend and precious mom, that knew the value that a teachable character, could not be bought and in God's hands we could close our notes.

Every place I look there was your touch, in the walls, or blankets, pillows,  or hand kneatted gardens, your melodies in corridors and kisses within secret prayers that were heard by Angels...where Calvarys flood overcomed the world. Aleluyah
