Ellen Marie McQueen

Ellen Marie”Nanny” McQueen passed away in Bloomington on April 29, 2015 at the age of 74. She was born in Oregon to the late Coy and Olive(Harden)Ford on June 5, 1940. Ellen married Jeff McQueen in Bloomington on February 4, 1963 and he survives.

Ellen was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed going to yard sales, flower gardening, fishing, camping and cookouts. She also enjoyed watching horror movies and westerns.

Ellen is survived by her daughter Mary(husband Brian)Sexton and son Don Ford, three brothers; Gary, Bill and Larry Ford, and one sister; Betty Ford.

She is also survived by two grandchildren; Heather(Brian)Todd and Alicia(Josh)

Stewart, both of Bloomington, four great grandchildren; Dalton Parks, Lilly Todd, Gracie Stewart and Ryleigh Stewart.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents and 8 siblings.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. in Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E. Third St., Bloomington, IN 47401. Burial will be held in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
