Eddie Ray Miller

Eddie Ray Miller, 67, of Springville passed away Sunday March 13, 2022 in I. U. Health, Bloomington Hospital. He was born November 29, 1954 in Marion, IN to Oren Roser and Rosemary Marguerite Powell Miller. He had worked in the Physical Plant at Indiana University. On July 7, 1975, he married Deborah Ann Quillen and they enjoyed 46 years together before death separated them.

Survivors include his daughter, Shawna (Kevin Shipley) Miller of Bloomington; his son, Edward (Tracy) Miller of Springville; three grandchildren, Clayton Bruce, Coleton Cheeseman and Asiah Miller; a brother, Frank Ford of Springville; five sisters, Mona Smith of Vine Grove, KY, Lena England of Bloomfield, Vicky Marple and Dixie Smith, both of Hustonville, KY and Marlene Rains of TN; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Deborah; two brothers, Jim and Joe Miller; and three sisters, Jackie Ford, Patty Abrams and Donna Byers.

Eddie enjoyed camping, boating, going to flea markets and helping Debbie.

There will be a Gathering of Friends and Family on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM in Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E Third St. Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, March 18, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the funeral home with Greg Bell and Connie Edwards officiating; Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
