Donna Kay (Jones) Cowan

Donna Kay Cowan, 84, of Bloomington, IN passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025. She was born February 7, 1941, in Bloomington, IN the daughter of the late Jessie and Fanny May Jones. She was the youngest of seven children.

Donna retired from General Electric as an inspector. She enjoyed shopping, reading, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She will be deeply missed.

Donna is survived by her son, Brad Cowan and his wife Christine; two grandchildren, Tad and Josie Cowan; and many other extended family members.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Greg Cowan; and six siblings.

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 25, 2025, at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Simpson Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
