Charles served in the Army during WW II in Normandy and N. France beginning October 1943 through April 1947. He received a Good Conduct Metal, European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with two Bronze Service Stars, Purple Heart, American theater Ribbon, and a World War II Victory Medal. He was a Sheet Metal worker for Local 20 out of Indianapolis, Indiana when he retired.
Charles leaves behind his children, Ginger & husband Don Farr, Charles (Chuck), Timothy & wife Shermagne, Toni & husband Danny Lady, Ernie & wife Sally, John, Ronnie & wife Conita, Shari & husband Mark Stannard as well as 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Charles is preceded in death by his wife Barbara Jean Livingston, grandchild, Angie Lady, and son Harold Livingston.
Visitation will be Friday, 4-8 PM at Day Funeral Home from. His funeral service will be Saturday at 12:00 P.M. with Rev. David Beecham. Burial will take place a Valhalla Memory Gardens where Military graveside rites will be conducted. Day Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
