Charles Dana Dennis Hill

Charles Dana Dennis Hill passed away on September 26th, 2021 at his home in Bloomington, Indiana. He was born in Bloomington on March 28th, 1960 to Charles Hill and Barbara Lawrence. A graduate of Bloomington High School North, Chuck went on to have a fulfilling, 30+ year career in the Van Buren Fire Department; retiring as chief.

Chuck is survived by his children David Blasdel, Michael Hill, and Holly Gomez; his brothers Chris Hill, John Hill, and Burch Perry; his 13 grandkids; and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ernie and Jeff, and children Charles Jr. and Amber.

Charles was a jokester and loved telling stories. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and most, of all, spending time with his grandchildren. He was also a member of the Indiana Volunteer Firefighters Association.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 1st at 12:00 p.m. at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home; 4150 E. Third St. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
