Carolyn "Sue" Robertson Harper

Carolyn “Sue” Harper, age 79, of Bloomington, died Tuesday afternoon at I.U. Health; Bloomington Hospital. Born April 16, 1936 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Robert and Ola (Frye) Robertson. She graduated from University High School and retired from the I.U. Halls of Residence in 1995. She will be fondly remembered as a good friend and caregiver to many.

She is survived by one sister, Judy (Raymond) Taylor, of Bloomington, close friend, Shannon Ramey, of Bloomington, one nephew, Deward Gregory, of Cadiz, KY, one niece, Lisa Bowlen, of Bloomington and one great-nephew, Brady Bowlen.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas Harper, in 1991, one sister, Ann Gregory, in 2000 and one nephew, Robert Gregory, in 2000.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home; 4150 E. Third St. with Rev. Kenneth Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Knightridge Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
