Carolyn Sue "Mimi" Bayne, 69, of Martinsville died in Indianapolis on July 2, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Susie was born in Bloomington to John and Naomi(Shute)White on May 25, 1946. She was a graduate of Bloomington High School.
Susie is survived by her mother Naomi Shute White, husband Robert Bayne, four daughters; Lori(Ron)Thomas, of Ellettsville, Tracie(Rusty)Lester of Spencer, Tammy(Rob)Fritz of Bloomington and Natalie(Cathy)Bayne of Athens, GA., five siblings; Connie(Jim)Kent of Ellettsville, Marsha(Larry)Gwaltney of Bloomington, Sherri(Randy)Hamilton of Freedom, John(Sara)White of Bloomington and Bruce White of Bloomington, six grandchildren; Keelea(Mitch)Thomas-Kile, Taylor(Sean)Fritz, AJ(Taylor)Hudson, Caycee(DJ)Thomas, Alex(Avery)Fritz and Keaton Lester.
She is also survived by five great grandchildren; Grifinn and Tahlen Thomas and Grier Kile, Charli and Harper Hudson, sister-in-law Sharon(Larry)Webb of Ellettsville and her close friend and cousin Stan Shute of Bloomington and mother-in-law Eva Lunsford.
She was preceded in death by her father John White and her brother W. Kevin White.
Susie was an avid mushroom hunter, cook and gardener. She dearly enjoyed and loved her family.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 1 p.m. with a two hour visitation prior to the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. in Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E. Third St., Bloomington, IN 47401. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to The American Heart Association or Lymphoma Research Foundation at lymphoma.org.
