Billy Eugene Howell

Billy was born on the 14th of June in 1947 in Prestonsburg KY to the late Raymond Howell and Josephine (Brown) Howell. He worked as a welder and fabricator in his early career, and quickly moved up to the role of plant supervisor at a Recreational Vehicle (RV) frame manufacturing facility, ending his time there as a manufactured frame salesperson. Billy also served the community as a volunteer EMT for a number of years and was lately a member of Griner Church in Middlebury.

Billy married the love of his life, Lillian Sue Webb (Sue), of David KY and moved to Indiana, spending many years in the community of Middlebury where they worked and raised their son, Stephen.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Sue, his parents Raymond and Josephine, two sons in infancy, and siblings Juanita, Lillian, Wanda, Bulah, Raymond Cassidy and Philip (Buford).

He is survived by his son, Stephen (Laura) Howell and granddaughters Ava Celeste Howell and Grace Alexandra Howell who reside in Bloomington IN as well as siblings Zilpha Jean (Mousie) Adams of Prestonsburg KY and Greg Howell of Alcoa TN.

The service will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, the 6th of July 2024, at the Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E. Third St. Bloomington IN. Family and friends are welcome to visit from 12 noon until 1:00 pm, prior to the service starting at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
