Barbara Lou Cox

Barbara Lou Cox passed away at her home in Williams, IN on June 5, 2012. She was born in Bloomington, IN to the late Robert H. and Margaret (Patton) Stephenson. Barbara was a city controller for the city of Bloomington for many years before retiring in 1981. She was a volunteer as “God’s Place” food pantry and was an avid square dancer and belonged to the “Good Timers” square dance group.Barbara is survived by two daughters; Margaret (Harold) Moser and Mickey(Mike) Ellett and one son; Bob(Tracy)Cox. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband William A.Cox and an infant daughter, Mary Jane Cox.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. in Deremiah- Frye Mortuary. The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 11a.m also in the funeral home. Burial in Valhalla Cemetery. Online condolences may be made to www.deremiahfryemortuary.com
